Hey, I'm Jocelyn!
I'm a dog photographer based on Vancouver Island, capturing wild-hearted, nature-first portraits of the dogs who make our lives better. My love for animals started at a young age and after getting my first camera at age 15, I knew I wanted to be a photographer. With over a decade of experience in the canine industry, I understand dog behaviour and am comfortable with all sizes and breeds.
My sessions are inspired by the way dogs move through the world: curious, unfiltered, and full of presence. Whether your pup is bounding through the woods, nose-deep in a tide pool, or quietly taking in the view - that's what I want to photograph. The real moments. The small ones. The wild ones. I shoot in mossy forests, open beaches, and tucked-away trails - the kinds of places where dogs feel most alive. Every image is edited with care and a natural touch so it feels timeless, earthy, and true to your dog's spirit.
When I'm not behind the lens, I'm usually hanging out with my rescue dog, Tui, wandering Nanaimo's coastline or soaking up the quiet magic of Vancouver Island's wilderness.
If you believe your dog deserves photos that feel like them, not just pictures of them, you're in the right place.

My sweet girl, Tui
